Timekeeping

Additional cleaning measures as a result of Covid are still implemented throughout the studio, therefore please make every effort to arrive on time for your appointment. Late arrival could result in your treatment being condensed in order to allow appropriate time to facilitate the next client. Where this cannot be avoided, please notify your therapist so they can plan adjustments for your treatment in advance of your arrival.


Rearranging/Amending Appointments

You can reschedule your appointment via the booking app or by contacting the studio. A reminder text and email will be sent out 48 hours prior to your appointment, please make adjustments to your appointment no later than 48hours to avoid incurring a cancellation fee.


Cancellation Policy

You can cancel your appointment up to 48 hours’ prior. If you need to cancel any appointment’s then you can do so via the email from your appointment reminder or by contacting the studio. If you have booked your appointment online, you will receive a link via email that will allow you to reschedule this over 48 hours before your treatment time.

Late cancellation/no show fee of up to 50% of the total of your booking will be chargeable if you cancel or fail to rearrange prior to your appointment under 48 hours’ advance of your appointment. You will be charged 50%, if you cancel on the day of your appointment or 100% should you not attend your booking at all. This payment must be paid in full before any future bookings can be made. The 48hour cancellation policy starts 48 hours prior to the time of your appointment.


Booking Fees

If you are a new client to us or are part of a group booking you may be required to pay a deposit which will be a fraction of the overall treatment cost. This will secure your appointment and be taken as full or part payment for any late cancellations under our 48hour policy.


Patch Testing

Some treatments may require a patch test at the beginning of your treatment to gauge your skins’ reaction. A patch test will be conducted for each treatment conducted at the studio to monitor skins sensitivity/ tolerance levels.


Treatment Restrictions

For insurance purposes, some treatment restrictions must be adhered to. If you have a medical condition, please notify the studio upon booking so that we can confirm your treatment can go ahead. In some cases, confirmation will be required from your doctor prior to conducting your treatment. Should you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us directly.

Minors, under the age of 18 may be restricted from certain treatments. You will also need to get a parental consent form signed prior to any treatment which will be provided by the studio. If you are under the age of 16 you will also need a parent or guardian present throughout your treatment. Please check with us first prior booking which treatments are available for under 18 and under 16.


Payments

All payments for treatments must be made in full upon completion of your treatment. Cash or bank transfer is accepted. If your preference is bank transfer, then please arrange payment prior to your treatment for ease of time between clients. If you are using a gift voucher, please bring this with you to your appointment. We will not be able to accept any vouchers unless present.


Mobile Phones

We kindly ask that once you enter the salon your mobile phone is either placed on silent or turned off and during treatment in order to achieve maximum benefits from your therapist during the treatment.


Complaints

We hope that you are happy with the treatments provided at The Face Therapist. If you find that you are dissatisfied at all with your treatment, then we ask that you kindly notify the studio immediately to allow us the opportunity to remedy the issue as they occur.
